About Us

Redeeming Grace Fellowship can best be described as a reformed, congregational, baptistic, new covenant church.

Our focus is glorifying and enjoying our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, in all of life, concentrating on the simplicity of congregational worship with hymn, chorus, and psalm singing.

Our church plant was birthed out of two churches in TX, Grace Community Church San Antonio and Providence Chapel in Denton.
These churches are our covering, authority and accountability until God raises up permanent elders at Redeeming Grace Fellowship. Elders from Providence Chapel fly up here the first Sunday of each month to preach. The Sundays we have no elder preaching, we typically watch a sermon from any of one our elders from these 2 churches or other like minded preachers like Charles Leiter, Paul Washer, John MacArthur etc.

We, as a church, strive to be Christ exalting and scripture honoring in the following ways:

Worship: We desire that as we come together corporately we would do so with hearts overflowing in thankfulness for all God has done for us in Christ. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. Psalm 100:4

The Word: Just as the early brethren “continually devoted themselves to the apostles teaching” (Acts 2:42) so we desire that our times would be centered around the preaching and teaching of the Word.

Prayer: Devote yourselves to prayer Colossians 4:2 We meet weekly for prayer on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm. Contact us for directions.

Fellowship: The Lord has so composed His kingdom that we are not to be “lone ranger” Christians but rather be a part of a body of believers. We desire to honor the Lord and serve one another through “encouraging one another day after day” (Hebrews 3:13) and by “Bearing one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)

Evangelism: We desire to fulfill the Great Commission through reaching out to our family, the community, and through prayer and financial support of foreign missions. “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Luke 10:2 praying at the same time for us as well, that God will open up to us a door for the word, so that we may speak forth the mystery of Christ…Colossians 4:3.

**Already existing ministries include Friday morning outreaches at Planned Parenthood on 443 Congress St, Portland and two Sundays a month we minister to the nursing home residents from 2-3 pm at South Portland Nursing Home.
